Rapper Coi Leray announced that she is going to be a “Girl Mom” in a sweet Instagram post on Tuesday.

In the photo spread, Leray showed off her baby bump in two poses–including an adorable one where she is grasping a bouquet of My Melody flowers.

The post has racked up more than half a million likes.

On Wednesday, Jan. 1, the “Players” artist confirmed on Instagram that she was pregnant with her first child with rapper/producer Trippie Redd.

“I’m a rock star mommy 💋🥹 we ready for 2025 🖤,” she wrote.

The couple has experienced some ups and downs with Leray addressing rumors that she had been cheated on with verses like on “Keep It,” where she said, “Supposed to be my peace, but broke me right into pieces / Yeah, you told me you loved me, but you ain’t mean it.” Trippie Redd later posted on X, “To every b**ch I ever did wrong, I’ll do it again.”

Despite their differences, the two chart-toppers will soon be co-parenting.

The 27-year-old rapper who is the daughter of Benzino–former Boston rapper and owner of the Source magazine has talked at length about her own family challenges. Last year, her father acknowledged that the two do not have a close relationship.

“It’s unfortunate,” Benzino said, on the We in Miami podcast in 2024, according to BET, adding, “But, you know, we don’t communicate too much. The whole thing is surreal to me… I’m a smart guy but I can’t figure this one out.”

He added, “Coi is a young lady, she’s independent. This young generation, they don’t want their parents interfering with their lives, man. I have to learn to adapt to that and respect that. It just ain’t Coi, it’s a lot of my daughters,” he continued. It’s hard for guys like me to have daughters and try to figure it out. Not the easiest thing.”
